From shared breakfast to individual dishes

A shared breakfast brings several dishes to the table; an individual plate gathers its listed contents on one plate. At Pusula Lounge in Taksim, shared Van breakfast has two-, three- and four-person options. This guide explains the terms you will see in our breakfast menu so you can compare the options before ordering.

Shared Van breakfast

A breakfast spread to share. Pusula’s menu lists cheeses, honey and clotted cream, olives, tahini with grape molasses, jam, tomato and cucumber, together with menemen, pan-fried eggs and unlimited tea.

Individual breakfast plate

An individual plate as an alternative to the shared spread. The menu lists cheeses, honey, clotted cream, butter, olives, jam, Nutella, a boiled egg, tomato, cucumber and tea. The boiled egg on the plate differs from the menemen and pan-fried eggs listed in the shared spread.

Pişi · fried dough

Pieces of fried dough. Pusula’s pişi plate lists three pieces with tulum cheese, jam and olives. It is a separate dish from the breakfast plate, with its own listed contents.

Gözleme · filled flatbread

A filled Turkish flatbread. The menu includes cheese, spinach, potato, sucuk, mushroom, pastırma, kavurma and sausage options. The name alone does not list every ingredient: for example, spinach gözleme also lists cheese.

Menemen · tomato, pepper and eggs

Plain menemen lists tomato, pepper and eggs. Cheese, sucuk, mushroom, pastırma, kavurma and sausage versions are separate menu items. Menemen being listed in the shared spread does not mean every separately ordered variation is included in its price.

Kaşar omelette

An omelette with kaşar cheese. Unlike plain menemen, its description does not list tomato and pepper. Discuss any egg or dairy requirements with the team before ordering.

Cheeses and accompaniments

Van herb cheese is named for its herbs; braided cheese refers to its woven shape, and kaşar is a different cheese variety. Honey and kaymak (clotted cream), and tahini with grape molasses, are separate accompaniments listed in the spread. These terms explain the menu; they are not a claim that every ingredient has a certified origin.

Choosing portions and reading prices

The shared spread has separate prices for two, three and four people. These are portion prices, not automatically a per-person charge. Individual dishes have their own listed prices. All prices on this website are in Turkish lira (₺ / TRY); confirm current prices and availability before ordering.

Tea, service hours and your visit

The shared breakfast lists unlimited tea; the individual breakfast plate lists tea. The pişi plate does not list tea in its contents. Pusula Lounge’s Google business listing shows breakfast every day from 08:00 to 17:00 and general opening hours as 24 hours. General opening hours do not mean breakfast is served all night. Confirm holiday schedules and table availability by phone before travelling.

Address, phone and visit information

Dietary needs and allergens

Descriptions are not complete allergen lists. Dairy, eggs and wheat-based dishes appear in the menu; tahini is made from sesame. A meat-free dish name does not establish vegan or gluten-free suitability. Ask about ingredients, preparation and cross-contact before ordering. The team needs to confirm any change to a dish.
